Eroica Montalcino

Distance: 153 km (95 miles) | Elevation gain: 2,870 m (9,416 feet) | Gravel roads: 100 km (62 miles)

The second Terra Eroica permanent course, Eroica Montalcino shares the same values as the original Gaiole route on a course which is shorter but no less fascinating.

Riding one of the five routes which start from Montalcino you can explore the protected landscapes of the Orcia valley, passing through Bagno Vignoni, San Quirico d'Orcia, Pienza and the heart of the Crete Senesi: Montisi and Trequanda.

Rustic villages, authentic cuisine and a warm welcome await when you explore the authentic side of Tuscany, where life moves more slowly, with a spirit of kindness and sharing.

Eroica Montalcino, all stages and variants
