Mulinum Buonconvento is located in Castelnuovo Tancredi and spreads the scent of tradition among the hills of Siena. Inside the green building construction, surrounded by hundreds of hectares of ancient grains, there are two ancient French La Fertè stone mills dating back to the beginning ‘900, with which ancient local grains are ground to obtain wholemeal flours, bread, agricultural pizzas and baked goods.
The flagship of the production is rye bread and five-seed bread, winners of the Premio Roma 2023, a recognition promoted by the Camera di Commercio di Roma which selects the best breads in Italy.
Mulinum is ideal for a break full of authenticity. The shop is always active. The agricultural pizzeria is open every evening in summer. In winter also for lunch, on Sunday.
